RIP Don Baylor too
Bad day for baseball. Baylor always seemed like a jovial good guy.

I always liked Don Baylor!
He was a huge influence on my hitting approach in little league as I often led our team in getting hit by pitches. The big difference was I did it because I couldn't hit a lick and it was the only way other than a walk I was getting on base!! I also have fond memories of the using the Boston Red Sox on RBI Baseball for the original Nintendo! A lot of pop in that line up with Buckner, Baylor, Rice, Evans, Burks & Armas!! He also spent some time as the hitting coach for my Cardinals. RIP Mr. Baylor, prayers to your friends & family. Scott |
