Default Babe Ruth Cut With Steiner Cert???

Anybody ever come across a Steiner cert for an item like this???

Seems kind of fishy, and can't say that I am super enthusiastic about the signature either...

What are your thoughts?

I seriously doubt that the bogus Babe Ruth Cut goes with that Steiner Letter. The pics provided are terrible, but it appears there is a "cut-out" in the Letter, underneath the encased Cut. And the size of the "cut-out" doesn't appear to match anything that he's selling.

Either that, or he is covering up/hiding something in the Letter, by placing that God-awful Cut on top of it.

As I said in the thread on the memorabilia side (which I locked) I have now seen hundreds and hundreds of good and bad Ruth's...and I don't care for this one.

It's no good. And Steiner only authenticates "in-person" signings. They use the BiG Two for everything else.

I forwarded that auction to Steiner Sports when it was first listed.

They don't care.

Too busy overcharging for autographs and making money.
You would think that they would want to protect their name, but apparently they do not even care about that.

100% not true. A while back I posted a picture of a signed baseball from a player who died in the 50's that I bought directly from Steiner that had a Steiner LOA and nothing else.

Ha!
Everybody's dream.
Buying a Babe Ruth sig online from a seller with no feedback and a cert that is covered up.

In person, witnessed, signings aside, why would anyone want or accept a COA for any autograph from Steiner?
I acknowledge that I have my concerns about the big TPAs, but at least the name authenticators are well known and considered fairly knowledgeable. Outside of branding, what does a Steiner cert bring to the table?
I'm not asking to start a fight. I'm just wondering is anyone working for Steiner considered an autograph "expert"?
