Default Question regarding 1994 Mother's Cookies Mike Piazza set.

It is my understanding that in 1994, Mother's cookies issued 4 Mike Piazza Rookie of the Year cards (numbered 1 through 4) as invividual cards, in a clear cellophane wrapper (sealed) in the packaging of their baked products in the Los Angeles area.

I actually have a few of these individual cards still in the clear cellophane wrapper.

However, I recently obtained a few of these 4-card sets, and each set is wrapped in the same type of clear cellophane wrapper (4 cards in one wrapper).

So now, what I thought I knew about this set goes out the window.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

These definitely came as a single card pack. I remember getting them as a kid and collecting them. It's possible the 4 pack is a company promo thing. A great example of that would be the Coca Cola Nolan Ryan Set. They came as a three pack wrapped the same way, but my dad's buddy worked at a bottling plant and he received a full set in the wrapper as an employee gift.

Pretty cool find either way!
