Hi Coe,
If you are ever in West Hartford Ct. You might want to look up Neal Sakow. He has a museum and I can tell you if it is a mantle piece Neal has it! You can google Neal Sakow and it will give you some info on him. But what he has will truely leave you in awe after seeing it!

There is a plaque on the house in Commerce, Oklahoma where Mickey Mantle grew up. There is also a billboard on the main hioghway through Commerce that says future home of Mickey Mantle Museum. It has been there for the past 10 years and last time I was through there ground had not been broken on it. Me and a friend stopped at a small card store on Main Street and asked about it. We were told that the town and the Mantle family had not been able to work things out, he thought that the family was making some demands that the town didn't want to meet.
The house he grew up in and the garage that he used as a backstop still stands and is easy to find. Also the high school baseball field is named after him. I have pictures of it but not sure I know how to post them.
