Vancovuer NW SABR meeting this Saturday

The Vancouver NW SABR meeting will be Saturday, August 27. Thanks once again to the Vancouver Canadians, we'll be having the meeting at Nat Bailey Stadium. A post-meeting BBQ will follow at Max Weder and Jennifer Ettinger's. Last year, Ian and Colin Dixon were guest speakers, and we had over 40 people attending. Simon Pond, ex-Blue Jay and Brent Crowther (ex-Rockies organization), both North Vancouver natives, will be guest speakers. If poet Georg Bowering returns from his trip south in time, he'll talk about his new baseball book and how to rhyme "Reno" .

For those of you who drop by for the meeting or the post-meeting BBQ at our place, you'll actually be able to see how few baseball cards I have.
