I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of a master forger that goes by the name of "Johnny Fang"? If so, I would really like to hear about it. Thank You.

He's been around the hobby a very long time and I had some bad dealings with him about ten years ago. He answered one of my ads and bought a few books- a Babe Ruth book and Johnny Evers "Touching Second." I wasn't sure why he was interested in them and then it dawned on me that he was planning to inscribe them himself. To boot, the check he sent me bounced; after contacting him and leaving phone messages, his father actually called me to apologize for his son's bounced check, and wired several hundred dollars cash to a Western Union office in my neighborhood to cover it. So even his father was humiliated by his son's actions. Fang's pretty dangerous and he's a good person to stay away from.

All these well-known cheaters out there, some of whom have stolen thousands of dollars, and not one has ended up face down in a ditch somewhere. We're nice people
