Default 1923 w515

Hey all,

I recently picked up this lot of SGC graded W515 cards. The Babe Adams is a pop 1 with none higher and Rommell and Meadows are both pop 2 with none higher. Anyone else like this set? I’d love to grab a Ruth someday but a little out of my range.

Default Great set

Love that series.I just picked up a w515-2 at an antique store that was in great shape. I love finding them out there, and yes, the Ruth would be a great one to pick up!

Great looking cards. The only small asterisk concerning pop reports of (real hand cut) strip cards is that strips can still be hand cut so a low pop today might not be tomorrow, more so than a normal series. If they meet the measurements they will get numerical grades (and rightfully so, given the current parameters) There are quite a few uncut W515 strips floating around. My guess is that many of those will be high grade in the future. Still, those are some really nice looking strip cards.....

They are real colorful, and have a very distinctive comic book style to them (check out arch villain Roush). And very affordable, as long as you don't mind how the border looks or if it even has a border still.
