On the tear-off tab on the D381 Ferguson Bakery card is an offer for a pillow top premium made up of small movie star pennants or baseball player pennants. The pennants were slightly larger than BF2s. An example of the baseball pillow top appears in an article on BF2s printed several years ago in Old Cardboard. The first example I have ever seen of the movie star pillow top
recently was offered on ebay. Here is the Ferguson premium.

I would like to be able to collect the baseball pennants but because of their cost, I have only been able to collect the actress pennants. Right now, I have approximately 100 of them.

I wasn't aware of the premium pillow top but one just like the one pictured showed up on eBay about five years ago. I bid on and won it but then, before I had a chance to pay for it, the seller E mailed me and told me it was no longer available for sale.

Because of the low price for which I "won" it for, I have a feeling that somebody came in and offered the seller more than what my bid was.

Who knows, maybe this pillowtop is the same one I "won" back then?

David
