Default Legendary Star card hoard selling price

I was shocked to see that this lot went for over 9,000.00.Reminded me of meeting the original owner .He did not produce the cards through his one man company.out sourced the job to someone else.Back in the day I was in a partnership with a guy who wanted to produce bodybuilder cards. We went to the Boca Raton,Fl. storefront address for Star Company. We were hoping to make a connection with owner and perhaps produce the cards together.Glass door was locked but we could see a middle aged ,mustachioed guy through the glass. He hesitantly unlocked the door,we stated our reason for being there,he replied,"Owner is not here. Can't help you." A true professional.later through pics,we realized he WAS the owner.Star is gone and who knows what happened to Mr. Mustache.Just his luck to have that Jordan card in his sets.
