They just recently starting offering the no sub-grades and just the overall grade at a reduced cost.
Personally, the sub-grades are what sets them apart from PSA and they should also put them back onto vintage cards as well. I honestly think if they came up with a revised vintage grading scale policy i.e. not the same policy of only .5 to 1.0 above the lowest sub as they do on modern cards AND printed subs on the cards, they really could make some headway on the vintage market. By not doing so, it's a "Where's Waldo" on the flaws of the card outside of obvious characteristics like centering. |
