I haven't paid much attention to baseball cards since i was a kid (50's & early 60's) untill recently I told a friend whose dad had passed away that I would help try to find out something about the old baseball cards they found with his antiques. I haven't had so much fun in a long time. I can see why you guys love the old cards the best as they are so much better than the newer ones that all look alike to me (an old guy). Thanks for teaching me a little about some of these old cards.

I had no idea what a Goudey's card was but in searching the internet I learned they were quite desireable. I was really shocked when I found we had a #l Jimmy Foxx. Now I don't know how it will grade but it doesn't look too bad to me for being 72 years old. I had a terrible time identifying the Tattoo orbit cards but I saw one on the forum. We have 3 of them but they have a pin hole in the top of them like they were pinned to a bulletin board or something. The Diamond matchbook players are mostly Greek to me. The Gold Medal Foods cards were quite hard to identify as well. I'm learning a lot and having a great time doing it. Thanks, Gary Bills
