Question About a Jack Lane Triple Crown Print
Hi guys. I recently picked up a large autograph collection, nothing great, mostly stuff done at shows in the 90's. There were some nice Mantle signed items but this one has me stumped.
It is dated 1986 by Jack Lane. Seems to be the only print not easily found online. Signed and numbered out of 1800. My question is, does anyone remember these when they came out? Were they sold signed by Mantle? Is this even a signature or a facsimile? I have looked at it multiple times over a couple of weeks and am leaning, wishful or not, that it is signed. Mostly because I have taken it out of the frame and looked at the back. The signature seems to stand out from the rest of the print, doesn't necessarily mean it's hand signed. Any help would be appreciated. |
