Default Dexter Press

Inquiry: Has anybody ever done a definitive review of the Dexter Press 5 X 7 cards? We have several collage pix which show as many as 15 different pix but our collection only has 12 of each club. Why would they show 15 give or take if the actual cards were not issued. Help please and thanks.

Default 1967 and 1968 Dexter Press Reviews

Here are reviews I did on the 1967 and 1968 Dexter Press sets as well as a post about the photographer whose family had contacted me after reading my reviews where they shared information on the 1967 photo assignment.

Hey Fleerfan,

Thanks ever so much for taking the time and trouble to load up your wonderful articles on the 1967 Coca-Cola premiums. I for one found them fascinating. Adding the many photos and documents you did made for a terrific contribution to our hobby, sir!

Sure wish I had known about you when I wrote my book on the immediate post-war regionals, as I included a chapter on the 1967 Coke premiums. Regardless, what you've given us is some very important knowledge and research into the background of these amazing cards. Furthermore, in conveying the photographer's personal story and documents, it opens a window for us on the man's large contribution to this huge undertaking by the Coca-Cola Company and the company they hired to do the work to produce the premiums---Dexter Press.

I cannot thank you enough. ---Brian Powell
