Default Trivia Question

Name a player or players (I can think of 2, though I'm hoping this thread helps show there are more) who has at least one card issued from 48 through 55 (accompanying images always welcome).

I chose 48 because with Bowman and Leaf, its the year we start to see football cards of pro players issued consecutively. 55 wasn't arbitrary either, since as Jeff mentioned in the 56 Topps thread, it was the end of Bowman (hint - one of the players I found not only had a 56 Topps, but also a 61 Fleer - how Fleer snuck into the market in 61, I have no idea). I had previously thought about Don Hutson who’s career basically fell perfectly into a gap such that he wound up without any football cards. Hutson’s career occurring during the wrong years for cards got me to thinking there must be some pre-Super Bowl era players whose careers fell during the right years for cards.
