Default Dock's No Hitter

Forgive me for being off topic. The elementry school version of me thought Dock Ellis was the epitome of cool. Sometimes I miss both of those guys. 44 years ago today he threw his No Hitter.

Default Ellis

I wonder if any other ML pitcher has thrown a no hitter while sky high on drugs.

Wow - he was cool! Check out the high waist pants, the huge shirt collar and the plaid jacket. I shouldn't laugh - I think I was wearing something equally cool in the 1970s.
