Default 1972 Pro Star Promotions Poster

Mike,

In another thread, on the memorabilia side, the 1972 Pro Star Promotions Posters were mentioned. Clemente was included in the grouping of some of the players included. Iíve never seen one and was wondering if you happen to have this poster. Howard stated he did have one and if you donít have the poster hopefully heíll post a shot of the piece.

By the way, some very nice program/scorecards and folder!

Mark,

I have the ProStar postcard, but was not aware the posters even existed until I saw that thread with the Stargell poster pictured. Pretty cool, but apparently very scarce. Would love to see Howard's Clemente.

Don't know if you saw it, but there's an early Brooks signed postcard on eBay (1958).

If it’s the one I’m thinking about I’ve seen it before. It’s a very nice, bold, early autographed postcard, BUT when the postcard was sent through the mail it placed too many PO markings on the front for my taste. I really do prefer the early postcards that go through the mail since most of them you can see the date (like with this example). I don’t mind the marking either , but if they are on the face or detract from the piece I pass even if it is fairly rare.

Day 70

1990s Sports Icon Bust and 2 diff. sales sheets...

This bust is large and heavy and reportedly limited to 500. The sales sheets show this bust and also another available of Roberto with bat. I had oppurtunities in the past to obtain the one with bat, but passed. Probably should have pulled the trigger as these don't seem too readily available today.

Default 1972 Pro Star Promotion

Here's mine...

Love the card. I think that the film-stripe on the left-hand side is common to all the copies of this image
