Default commons should get more love

As you all know I stick to certain baseball vintage hofers, yankees, etc but I really have been interested in commons from major sets T206, Goudey, Play Ball, Dan Dee, Stahl Meyer, etc. just to name a few. I know some commons sell for huge like 52 Pafko but what about the rest, they should have some attention, but another good alternative to a collector like myself who cant afford many big time stars also enjoys the vintage hobby and the major sets that paved the way for what we have today!

Default Commons

I have always felt the Topps 1959 Curt Raydon was significantly undervalued.

Actually , since I collect all Topps sets, I collect all Topps commons, and have much respect for all of them....well....most....or at least a lot.

There was a recent thread here about whether the premium realized for the first and last cards in a set, common or not ( Palko v Mathews) makes sense beyond common hobby expectations

Default Actually. . .

Commons get more "love" then they deserve sometimes especially if you are trying to complete a graded 50's set all in PSA 7. The commons cost more then minor stars or semi stiars.
