Default 1960's Willy (sic) Mays Dominican Card

So I have this Wiily (sic) Mays card. I know that it is from the 1960's and that it is Dominican in origin. Anyone else have more information about this? Thanks!

We listed it in the Standard Catalog with a speculative issue date of 1966, since some of the cards stole their images from 1965 Topps.

The only players we had on the checklist were Mays, McCovey, Koufax and Marichal.

If anybody could ever dig up credible evidence of these cards' origins as "real" baseball cards, i.e., issued some product, their scarcity would result in big prices.

Thanks for the information Bob.
Any suggestions on a starting place to do some of that research?
