Default T206 Identifying....

Hey all! As you mostly know, I'm jumping into collecting T206's as of late and been trying to pick up ones at decent prices. I was perusing the web today and I found this picture (attached) on a website. Can anyone identify the pink T206 card in the back? The guy with the white cap, kinda hiding in Walter Johnson's backpack? It looks like a cool card that I wouldn't mind having

If you are new to T206 you should spend some time on this site:

It holds the answers to many questions!

Carlos Smith is the very first T206 I ever bought. I was a student at LSU Shreveport and thought it fitting. That's was also the last year Shreveport had a MiLB team.

Yes, it was sad how many old time Texas League teams lost there franchises back in the early 2000's.

Here's another great link (put to Shreveport franchise page, but very navigable):

It's a great way to look up some lesser known major and especially minor league players (it can get you hooked not only with T206, but also T210).

Fun stuff, Scott
