How would you respond to this seller's request to cancel the order?
I purchased a BIN on ebay for $475 and shortly later received this message via ebay from the seller.
"Thank you for your purchase, but I've made a mistake on the listing. I had intended to list the Herbert card for $1900 because of the low population. I will honor your purchase because it was my mistake in listing. That being said, with your consent, I would like to cancel the trade and relist at the correct price. Thanks for your consideration." The exact same card, same PSA registration number sold in Jan '18 for $565 so although I think I got a decent deal, the card certainly isn't worth anything close to the $1,900 realm. I'm not casting any judgement on this guy but as a buyer, what would be your reaction and how would you respond? FYI this guy is a top rated seller on ebay and has over 5K positive feedback rating. Thanks |
