Default Got my "T206 Collection" book today!

I have been looking to pick up the book for awhile but didn't want to spend the astronomical prices they ask whenever one pops up on ebay. I came across the website http://t206players.com/
and ordered right away. Only took 5 days to get here. Got the book, a nice little letter, a reprint card, and a T206 bookmark for $25..... and the book is signed by the authors. Hard to beat.

I haven't seen any info about this on NET54 so I figured I would post it in case anyone else was still looking to pick up a copy.

Also, I missed it when I ordered mine, but if you put a note in with your order details, they will personalize the signatures for you.

It's a fine book...one could have quibbles on using reprints versus originals, but I really like it and find a lot of value in it. As a companion read, may I suggest Crazy '08 and Glory of Their Times...both add context to this fascinating era of baseball.

The use of Reprints as the examples was a little weird to me.However, great book and I still reference it weekly. My books jacket got torn I might have to put this on my Christmas List.

Great book with some really interesting facts on the players in the set. I would love to see someone put together a T206 book that was more focused on the topics that are discussed regularly in this forum (i.e. theories on the printing process, proofs, chronology of the series releases, backstory on some of the hobby pioneers, documentation of major T206 "finds", master checklist for all backs, etc, etc...). Basically more about the cards and less about the players. I know that a lot of this information is available in various threads on Net54, but imagine a hardbound book with tons of pictures of printers scraps, color variations, etc....
