Default Little League World Series

I absolutely love this time of year. The Little League World Series is some of the best baseball that comes on every summer.Playing hard as a team and better yet no million dollar head cases to deal with.Just a team of young men tying to prove themselves as the best in there age group. It makes me remember how much I loved playing the game all day every day as a youth.Hats off to all the Little Leaguers participating this year!Jason Wells

Default best times for me

Little League was the best time I ever had in Baseball. What a great time for the kiddos.....I have some very fond memories and still love to see them play.

Agreed. I would rather watch a LL game than a MLB game any time.

Obviously, the Little League World Series is great. But the issue is, the best young baseball players do not play Little League. "Travel baseball" is quickly becoming the norm for most top players and because of that the overall level of Little League teams are declining. Many travel baseball teams would beat the Little League World Series teams.
I guess you can kind of look at the Little League World Series like the Minor League World Series.

I love it too. Did you hear that quote from the Kentucky catcher that was involved in two plays at the plate yesterday? When the announcer asked him what he thought about playing in front of 41,000 people...."I always dreamed about impressing a bunch of people and I think I did." That's gold Jerry gold!!!!!!
