Neat; the fact that the flip says PR-FR 1 means that it was graded before PSA started doing half point grades.
I would recommend that you take it to a card show that PSA will be doing encapsulations (like the National in Chicago) and having it reholdered with the hologram on front flip and serial number on front and back. There seems to be some "frosting" on the left edge of the case. Make sure when you get it that it hasn't been tampered with.

Good to hear!

Yes, I'd have trouble sleeping at night knowing that card is on the way!

I'd feel the same way until my card arrives in the mail. When I bought my 1951 Mantle, I confess that it was always on my mind until I had the card in my hands.

Great card! I hope to get one in my lifetime.

Take a new photo of it when you get it and post it here for us to salivate over it.

50's cards, and namely the 52Topps cards are also my biggest interest.

I currently own zero pre-war cards but I certainly would like to have a Ruth, Gehrig, or Plank, to name a few.
I find myself looking at them more often than not lately, but with the price of most them, I think I had best stick to what I know best!

Default When it's delivered---

It's going to be a "signer" so you'll want to be at your front door waiting for the mailman to show up.......it'll be the longest wait of your life.....enjoy and congrats-it looks fine.
