Default How in the world do TPAs authenticate Manny

I am looking for a Manny for my 500 HR club collection, and I see this

http://www.ebay.com/itm/MANNY-RAMIRE...item3a768ea9fa

and this

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Manny-Ramire...item58868966bb

and this

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Manny-Ramire...item35b59f0693

and finally this

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Manny-Ramire...item3f11cc61d6

My point being the only commonality I see between all these balls is that they have TPA from JSA or PSA. I understand a players signature can change over time, but this is insane. How am I supposed to trust any of these balls, shoot even this one has a cert from UACC

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Manny-Ramire...item43b3e2218b

and it has no qualities.

What is a guy to do?

Your not helping by showing me more signatures that are different, just proving my point :P

that's manny's fault, his sig changed from a full name early to basically his initials late. also his ip can look totally different from one person to the next whether he's annoyed with you or not (squiggly indecipherable lines).

Where do I send it to? He doesn't have a team to send to the clubhouse?

He signs without a fee. Write a nice letter with your request. Keep in mind the time frame for getting something back varies and there is always a chance you won't get the ball back at all. However, Manny is a good signer and many people have had success.

Cool thanks!, do you need to provide a SASE for the ball? Or do they take care of that?

Always include a SASE with something TTM, it makes it easier to send the item back for them.

Without it, your hoping the player wants to spend 3 bucks to send you his autograph.

10 out of 10 times, they don't want to.

This thread is just what I needed. Manny is the only regular starter from the '95 Indians team that I don't have a SS ball from. Thanks a bunch guys.

Actually, I forgot I still need Hershiser too...damn.

according to sportscollectors.net manny has a 12% ttm rate and that address has many returns or failures the last 6-7 years. he's had 1 success the last 3.5 years through the various addresses. i wouldn't waste a ball and postage.
