Vintage team photo

Does anybody know who this team might be? The jerseys have P. AND.R A.A. on them. I'm thinking the photo is from the late 1890s. Any information about this photo would be greatly appreciated.

I would guess it is two towns or cities close together with an Athletic Association....one starting with a P and one with an R. I'd look closely to the area where it was obtained.

Not sure if this link will show but found this article in the August 11, 1899, Trenton Times about the "P & R baseball team". In case the link doesn't work here's the article:

"P and R Baseball Team; The P & R baseball team of Trenton Junction which has not been defeated this season, will go to Pennington tomorrow afternoon to play the the strong team of that place. The Junction boys are confident of winning."
