I'm pretty sure that the cards are NOT authentic...I can't even begin to go into why, all around they just don't look right.

Black ink T206 names too.

I courtesy emailed him that they are not reprints and he should get his money back. he replied that they are real and they hung in the house for decades. Sure has a lot of knowledge about a consignors property he just purchased.

Sweet tale he has come up with. Those aren't even close. I sure hope nobody bites on this garbage.

Best,

Andy

He says they hung in a "farm house" 75 years ago or so. Have seen other stories like this before. Some of these stories I'm sure true.

I wonder back then, how that came about. Since some of these farms are way out there, did they get them when they went into a city? Or at a small local mom and pop place. But why would mom and pop place have them, probably was not cost effective for them. So much unknown. Be really interesting to find out.

Default farmhouse

i feel certain that frame is an authentic frame.
It doesn't appear to be a matchbox or a stick of gum IMHO.
The cards are reprints--period.

best,
barry

He has gotten some "hostel" emails. Must have been from wayward youth.
