Default Today at the card show!

I've missed the past two monthly shows here in Jacksonville, was great to get out and support the cause!
Dealer had some graded cards 1/2 off lowest marked price, so I picked up:
A very miscut 1971 Nolan Ryan #513 (BVG A) $7
BVG 3 '34-'36 Diamond Star #88 Geo Selkirk for my set $15
1959 Topps hi number Pirates Team BVG 2 $6
1961 Fleer basketball #65 Jack Twyman PSA 4 $5
1966 Topps baseball #590 SP Moose Skowron BVG 4.5 cost $7.50
A nice stack of 1975 Topps baseball for a friend $1 or $2 with a Brett RC $15
Full set of 66 cards 1978 Donruss Elvis for $5
Autographed postcard by David Prowse the original Darth Vader $1
Beatles postcard $1 Islays disk ('76?) Willie Stargell $1
Six unknown Pirates ('60s) $5
1970 tall boy basketball cards Alcinder $10 Wilt $5 All-Star cards Big "O", West, Baylor were cheap, Calvin Murphy, Bill Bradley too.
Stack of '56 Topps football team cards were less than $2 each Steelers, 49ers (X2) , Packers (X3),Rams, Lions, Bears (X3), Colts (X2).
Dozen 1966 Batman "Batlaffs" $5
1967 Topps Soupy Sales cards for my "master set" (don't ask) 16 BIG hits $40 that's $2.50 each LOL
1955 Bowman umpire card #311 Goetz for $1
Hostess/Twinkees ? 1977 Bench Yaz Munson these were a "toss-in"
1958 Topps Yankees team was $1
1960 Topps baseball AS hi number Skowron I forgot but it must have been cheap LOL
3 50s-60s actress exhibit cards were $1 each

A good day at the card show!

If anyone needs one of the posted 1956 Topps football team cards PM and I'll send you one!

Larry

Hey Larry,
Great haul there. I'm about 45 minutes to an hour north of Jacksonville. What show was this and how often is it and where?
Thanks a lot.

Found a 1967 Topps Red Sox team card #604 on the floor LOL cost me $2

Rick this is the monthly show hosted by "Jacksonville Sports Cards" old school brick and mortar store you probably could call them and get on their mailing list (904) 387-0260. Great store Great Folks but any in store bargains are long gone! Great if you need supplies, they usually have sports going on TV!

The next show is Saturday August 5th (9AM-3PM) ALWAYS PLENTY OF VINTAGE!

Ramada Inn Conference Center
3130 Harltey Rd
Jacksonville FL
32257

It's on the south side of Jacksonville so that will probably add a few minutes to your drive.

Default Jax Show

Larry,

I went to the Jacksonville card show at the Ramada today as well. Always have a good time even though I rarely pick up anything for my collection; typically just supplies. My collecting interest are very narrow so I don't expect to find anything, but like to support our local show. Even though I already have a '71 Pro Star Promotions Brooksie I did pick one up; it looked nice so why not.

Anyone near Jax come to the next show as I'm sure you'll have a good time.

Nice slab cracking. I am keeping mine to send in with my next submissions to BGS and PSA, so they can be removed from the registries.
