Default 1936 R311 Premium "Leather Finish" Arky Vaughn/Honus Wagner

...on cold rainy days I stay inside and take apart my pile of old dilapidated scrapbooks and photo albums and restore and clean what I can. I don't touch the nice ones...

.I like the added touch of the very neat cursive fountain pen " 'Pittsburg' Pirates ".

..Evidently the kid was not from Pittsburgh . Nice penmanship though...a confidant hand.

A longtime board member graciously agreed to sell me this e103 oddity from my favorite set and another big acquisition for my oddity/error Type Card run....

Nice, Brian. I don't see a bunch of E103 print errors.

Aside from this one and a couple that have rough cuts (possibly handcut)...I've really not seen any other e103 oddities. All three "Williams" sets were extraordinarily clean now that I think about it - you don't see too many at all out of e107, e103 or the Oxford e253 set

Default T205 Oscar Stanage/Menko catcher

Picked up my 3rd Oscar Stanage T205. This one has a cool cursive purple stamp on the back. Also just in from Japan another cool menko catcher.

Nice Cobby Chris! Congrats on finishing off the T206 Cobbys. The bat off is eluding me thus far but in time I'll corral one.

Pete, are you sure these all exist? I don't recall ever seeing a scan or someone saying they have a blue crofts.

There is a E92 Crofts Candy Blue reverse of Harry Davis ending tonight on Mile High. I think it is particularly special since I consigned it.

Disagree. Put this post up because a member on this thread stated Croft Candy blue backs was on his want list and since I had consigned a nice Davis with such a reverse to the Mile High Auction, one of the advertisers on this board by the way, I posted a message. This card would never be found on b/s/t. Isn't one of the missions of this board to try and help each other to find those cards we covet by whatever means. Lighten up.

Sure, but you could've just PM'd that board member about that auction. And I don't think it matters that Mile High is an advertiser or not. There's a separate forum under BST for ebay and auction house items.

And, back to new pick ups:

An E104-1 Morgan, and an E104-3 Jones, they may be rough, but very tough. Thanks DJ for a great transaction on the Jones. And you can't beat $50 from a random e-bay find on the Morgan. Now I need a World's Champions and a type 2 to have a representative of each (unless there are Nadja backed type 2 or 3s?).

Reread his post "In the BST, this post belongs" in the voice of Yoda and you will realize that Mr. 4815162342 had his light saber set to tickle.

Agree but not the end of the world..... John (Yoda) is a great guy (hi John) so he and I will chat about it. We can't really let every one post for sale stuff on the front page or it would be anarchy. A PM in this case would have been a bit better. Also, as stated, we do have a place for ebay and other venues announcements in the BST section for them.

Horrible condition wise but this allows me to move the Cobb one box over to be with the rest instead of my type collection.
