Default Any other Topps Big fans here?

I feel like these are under appreciated sets. Despite it's short run of 3 years, they hold some of the best memories for me.

I just never liked any of those sets. They had too much of a comic feel to me.

I know that is not a unanimous sentiment.

I agree with the comic feel, but that is mostly why I liked them so much. I was a sucker for Topps Big and 1989 Bowman, the slightly oversized cards of the late 80's and early 90's.

I like them but I don't remember them being very available when they were released. But at that time I lived in a small town that really only catered to the most essential needs of food and gas.

I pulled this from a pack that I got from an antique store a few years ago. Imagine the excitement of pulling a HOF "rookie" turning to disappointment as the horrible miscut sinks in.

That's my favorite Topps Big card and a great looking RC!

I also grew up in a small town, but my brother got his hands on some Topps Big at some point since I remember pawing through them before I got my own card collection. My most vivid memory is riding my bike to the corner store in the middle of nowhere Montana and buying jumbo packs of 1992 Score for .59.
