Default ca.1937 French card issue, Cy Blanton

Does anyone have info or another example from this French sports card set?
INDIANA - SPORT - AVION

thick stock 2-7/8" by 2-3/8", sepia color.

Im trying to date the issue more closely, and am using 1937 because thats the middle of Cy Blanton's career with Pittsburgh.

Also, for those that can read French.... what is the brand/company name and what is the product name??? Im guessing at best. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Ive Googled a few times over last couple months and the only related info I come up with is a single image (below) of another example from this set. So I know its a very rare set, at least.

To me it looks like the seller has a total of 118 cards for the 70€, but they are from 6 different INDIANA series (plus 20 other cards from another set?).

I think they only have 16 cards in the lot from the same INDIANA sport avion series as the 2 cards pictured above.

Thanks for the boxing card image/info

Now I need to see if the note at top of back "series of 136 images" is for all the different titled series (subseries) total?, or if each one is 136 cards??

The back of that boxing card is almost the same as the Blanton card in design, but it is different..... there are font/design differences, ie "A", "D" in "INDIANA" and the "C" in "C'est", and the line under "Mon", and the "J" in "Jean", etc..
They are the only 2 backs Ive seen scans of.

INDIANA sport= 42 images
INDIANA indiens=19 images
INDIANA sport avion = 16 images
INDIANA cow-boy = 8 images
INDIANA Les drapeaux =29 images
INDIANA marine de guerre = 4 images

These ad up to 118 cards

Thanks, I'll look at the links, I was googling too many words and that was my problem. I didnt know of the different titles of the INDIANA series on the front.

Just saw the boxer and the Blanton, they are the exact same 2 cards previously mentioned. I got the Blanton a couple months back on eBay.

PS. Why would SGC put 1930, when the boxing card actually says 1932 on back. at least put an "s" on the 1930 (1930's). Oh well

Blanton played with the Pirates from 1934-1939 (but 1934 he was 0-1), so it should fall within those years, and for sure be 1935 or later.

I guess Im sticking to the ca1937 as issue date for these INDIANA-SPORT-AVION series.
