1951 KC Blues Auto Book Mantle, Rizzuto, Mize, Skowren, Baur, Negro Leaguers also

You are bidding on a book of autographs from the Kansas City Blues players over the span of a few yrs. All of these players have at later dates gone on to play for the Yankees. The most famed of them is the Young Mickey Mantle who went on later that yr to play for the Yankees. This is a pre rookie autograph of him as well as all players listed with the exception of Rizzuto. The lady I bought this from had said that her father and Phil were good friends and this is how they (her and her father) were able to get these autos. This also explains why he is the first to sign the book. A good Mantle sig from early yrs are hard to come by, yet alone 41 autos of Yankees and Negro League players. There have been balls with Pre Yankee Mantle sigs sell for about $20K and other early Mantle Items that excede $2-$5K in auctions regularly.

This is for the ultimate Mantle Collector or an Autograph Collector that is looking to add a Pinacle point to his/her collection.


I am sure in the right hands a person could dissect this book up into individual sigs and make more money or whatever.
