Default Another Postcard Question...Mini postcard?

Hey guys...I've been collecting postcards of yankee stadium for quite some time...I picked this up a few months ago off good ol' ebay. Does anyone know anything about this issue?

It's small...maybe 1/3 the size of a regular postcard?

I too have a fair amount of stadium and rppc (generic) postcards. With the back looking the way it does I wonder if it could have been cut from a card with 3-4 scenes on it? Over time it might have gotten wear similar to a regular baseball card ie....the bit of rounding on the corners. Just a thought but otherwise I don't remember seeing a mini-stadium-postcard before.

Thanks for response Leon...now that I re-read my thread...it's not quite that small...maybe 1/3 the size of a reg postcard.

Here is a scan!

Hey Peter,

Although I enjoy trying to win bb postcards in an attempt to actually collect them,I don't think im an expert....but I think postcards need to be a certain size to go through the US Mail. So it could be something else or as Leon said cut from something. peter

I am not sure I would call that small one a postcard. It does have the linen characteristics but that is all. As for postcards being a minimum size, I don't know about that.

It most likely came in a pack of "Views". Something like this - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-New-...item257e52fb8a

thanks dan...you may be right. Leon...I'm totally fine NOT calling it a postcard!!!!!! It's much closer in size to a "real" baseball card...I'll call it that!!!! It's not going anywhere anyway...going into my yankee stadium collection.

Here's one from Chicago that is probably very similar to the packet your Yankee Stadium card came from: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Souv...item2ec89cdd9b
