Satch is in an Indians jersey if it helps any. Anyways, there were a handful of those circulating around ebay a few years ago. I believe there were also some of Cobb and Wagner maybe?. I couldn't find any info about them then either. All the sellers back then claimed they were from the 50's.. If I remember correctly they usually sold for anywhere from $10-$50...

These are very vague memories though. The Satch patch would've made a great addition to my Indians collection, but I just couldn't pull the trigger without knowing what the hell they were..

I think I remember reading about those. They may have been from the 50s-60's when Topps had the card monopoly and all the current players under contract. If memory serves correct some company tried patches because Topps had the lock on anything cardboard with current players
