Default Lou Gehrig "Glove Style" Photo Match Glove Auction

Below is the link to a glove style photo matched glove up for auction from Infinite Auctions. Notice I didnt say "photo matched" glove but rather "glove style" meaning the pictured glove is of similar style.

No idea who their authenticators are, but I love this line in their write up

"It is our opinion that the glove is authentic as described and is attributed to being worn by Lou Gehrig."

As I read that it doesn't read that they are saying the agree that he wore it. So it's their opinion that it is attributed to being worn by him. So they are agreeing that someone else says that he wore it, but they aren't saying he wore it. Or am I misreading that?

BTW: I have no opinion on if the glove's story is real or not.

The mitt being auctioned has a tunnel loop for the web lace. The mitt Gehrig is wearing does not.

As soon as I saw this lot and the description I couldn't stop laughing. They offer no history behind it or show how th u determined Gehrig might have used it. Yet they say it has great provenance.

Also the globe Gehrig is wearing looks to have a Repair patch.

The point on the strap isn't even in the same spot to the seam on the thumb.

This comment just makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I really trust them now.....

This item is being sold at public auction on an as-is basis. This item has been extensively evaluated by our vintage baseball authentication team. No disputes or differing opinions from any and all outside authenticators will warrant any type of refund or dispute.

I didn't see that part. And it looks like someone has already bid on it.
