25% shipped out for regrade...

I have resubmitted approx. 25% of our *graded vintage over a couple of years time. Of those, about 50% crossover and 50% cracked from holders. Not sure of a solution but because of this trend, these pop reports are due to become highly exagerated.

Kept the flips -somewhere in this mess, with the idea of possibly guiding the pops back toward an even keel.

Curious as to y'alls regrade habits.

ANYONE's pops being anywhere close to accurate. Maybe on the 8's and 9's they might be close but many 8's have been cracked multiple times and now reside in 9 tombs.

I've only resumitted one card. After it came back an 88 I gave up on ever figuring out what it takes to get a high grade. This card is the finest looking 1963 Topps I've seen and can't find any flaws. There is no chipping, no usual print dots or other defect that are so common with this issue and the card is dead center.

Thankfully, I collect low grade stuff, so I rarely have an issue with grades my cards get. Actually, most of myissues with card grades were with my Indian cards that I submitted. Since demand was less for them, I was able to afford high grade examples until a few years ago.

I see alot of old PSA graded cards, and they have over sized holders for t206s. the cards look loose inside... if you were to shake them, it looks like the corners would get all dinged up. couldn't they have made proper holders ??

Ahhh, the beloved baggie holders. This one of the reasons that people use SGC and GAI instead of PSA, especially for nonstandard issues.
