I don't know the answer but find it refreshing that despite having the two largest payrolls in MLB you still can't buy a pennant in Baseball.

I think the Yankees miss in 2013, 2014, and 2016.
The Mets always miss except their miracle run I think in 2015 So I would go with that ‘13, ‘14, and ‘16
