Just wondering what you favorite Fabric card may be.Here are the fabric cards/pieces I am aware of:
B-18 Blankets,BF2 Felt Pennants,L1 Leathers,S-74 Silks & the S-81 Large Silks. It would be nice to see some of these scans. If anyone scans a L1 leather I know I will fall off my chair Now giddy-up and scan

I have B18 blankets, BF felt pennants of actresses, S74 silks (colored and white) of both baseball players and actresses (unfortunately the only ones with their paper backing still attached are about 10 actresses) but as a favorite?? Probably my S81 just because of rarity. As far as L1 baseball players, I don't own any but I do own these two, Sitting Bull and Minnehaha.

Wow guys these are some very beautiful cards and those Leathers are very attractive.Does not matter if they are of baseball players or not those indian collectibles are very nice and highly sought after. Now since I am off topic here is a question about the S-81 Silks,Were there Generals also in this set as I have seen in publication one of Washington, correct me if I am wrong. That silk was very attractive with all the colors,if I remember correctly it showed him on a white horse. I am amazed, thanks guys & if you can keep 'em coming

Joe,

That's an awesome piece! What's the story? Are those Silks that have been sewn onto a background or what? I'm not big on "fabric cards/pieces" so this thread is making me a little curious. Any more info on your pic would be appreciated.

Also, if anyone knows any more about the L1 Leathers I'd like to hear a little about them (who made them, distribution, etc.). I've seen pictures of ballplayers on L1's before but I've never seen one in person. I'm guessing they're more than a little scarce?

Cool thread...

Zach S.

Hello Zach, the large silk is called S110 Baseball Player Pillow Case and is listed in the 2007 SCD price guide on page 379. It is related to the S81 silks. I think I purchased from Mastro a few years ago.

Ralph, feel free to email me the checklist. I would appreciate it.

Joe, are the red stitches on the pillow case actual stitches or just printed to look like baseball stitching? Do you have a bigger scan that you could email me of the pillow case so I can see more detail?

Zach S.

Well, since I've been bothering others in this thread I may as well post my only fabric card. I bought it because I didn't have a B18 and because I'm a Zach Wheat fan.

Zach, I may be wrong, but thought that the T3, S81, and L1 "cards" all were part of Turkey Red's coupon redemption program, requiring 10, 50, and 100 coupons respectively.

Here's a few fabric cards (are leathers fabric?)
