Default Maple Crispette question

hi, is this a tough set to complete? i know there is 1 card that i would never get i think it is the Stengle right?

the reason i ask is because i won the Wait Hoyt for $53 and i was thinking this was a fairly inexpensive entry to the set.

I would say that it's a very tough set to go after, figure many years, even if you have the funds to do it..............

Lots of years and lots of money to get to 29/30. I started this set with 21/30 early last year - I am now at 26/30....Hoyt is a relatively cheap card in this set, as there are a lot of pricey HOF (Bottomley, Traynor, Cobb, Ruth, Johnson, etc.) to add beside Stengel.

Bottomley will be a pain to find, but a lot of other cards in the set will be a challenge not because of rarity, but because of being overpriced, but what else is new?

Agreed....There are usually quite a few on eBay, all of which are usually overpriced!
