Default 1951 Topps Red Backs - questions on card stock

I have two 1951 Topps Red Back Bob Feller cards with different card stock. One is creamy and the other is white card stock. I've seen this difference for other players as well while searching PicClick / ebay.

I couldn't find anything in my references or a search of Net 54, but I'm sure this is known to collectors.

Can anyone shed more light on the different card stock used in the 1951 Topps Red Back set?

Do all players in the set come in both varieties?

Were different card stocks used in the Blue Backs set as well?
