Don Prince - 1962 Cubs Pitcher

Does anyone know how rare of a signature Don Prince is? He had a cup of coffee pitching in one Major League game for the Cubs in 1962, and while he is still alive, was convicted in 1996 in a murder for hire plot. I couldn't find any recent sales of his signature, and only saw one example on Worthpoint on a contract document.

Does anyone have any insights into the rarity of this signature? Sometimes a signature may not appear on eBay much (I can't find any listed currently) but are still relatively common.

i think you have answered your question yourself that it is a rare signature , but I would check with either Jim Stinson or Kevin Keating to get a line on his signature .

Prince was recently released from prison after serving a 16 year sentence he is probably not signing autographs or his residence is unknown. Likely the later. Don't recall his being a willing signer even before he was charged with a crime as all of his autographs I recall seeing were signed before his brief major league debut.

A few months ago I sold him on a pre major league document but here is another Prince autograph signed in 1960 when he was in the minor leagues with Lancaster. Interesting too in that it also has an autograph of a young Ken Hubbs.
