Default Pin These Boston Pilgrims Down

Posted By: bruce Dorskind

In my type collection, I have a few near mint Blue Label Cigar Makers
pins. These colorful pins were issues in 1904 to celebrate the
Boston Pilgrims' World Series win over Pittsburgh.

Does anyone know where I can locate a complete check list...
and can anyone tell me the last time (other than 2004 Lifson auction)
such a pin was auctioned?

Thanks,

Bruce

Bruce, I believe Boston beat Pittsburgh in the 1903 World Series, not 1904...the Giants refusing to play them in a 1904 series.

Would you have a picture of those pins?

All the best,
Greg

Now that I read that again, you probably meant they were issued in 1904 for the previous 1903 series....my bad
