Default Grat morning - the coffee was perfect and I left my first negative feedback!

Posted By: runscott

Over 900 transactions on ebay and I finally had to leave negative feedback. This really sucks and is totally contrary to what ebay is all about - over a measly $150. This seller was a great communicator until I asked for a refund. She even signed the return receipt when I returned the goods. Now she gets negative feedback, reported to ebay fraud, reported to the state of Florida Consumer Protection Dept as an internet cheat, and potentially to the FBI...because out of principle I just have to make her life Hell.

Some people might claim that I am "one card short of a full e95 set"...hahaha (laughing with self in case no one else gets it)

you have nothing to feel bad about. I just wish people would make use of nuetral and negative feedback more often. I have left 3 negs and lord knows how many nuetrals over the years. Most of the people that get nuetral feedback are the ones that insist upon paying with a personal check even when my auctions state clearly that I do not take them. They feel that having to get a money order is an imposition and/or they don't want to pay 75 cents for one. They probably think I am bluffing when I say I will leave nuetral feedback if you do send one. Oh well. Only had one moron that left retaliatory negative. He claimed I sold him a fake Wlater Johnson wire photo (all the wire photos in my colelction came from Mike Jasperson's father). What I found out was that he had pre-sold it to a customer before the auction closed and then the customer backed out of the deal so he wanted to do the same.

Now that I know Jay's pet peeve ...

I won't even send a check for payment. I will just send a scrap of paper on which I have written an I.O.U. for the winning bid amount.

If I want to leave negative feedback, I 1) say "praise" and then mention my complaint, or 2) leave vague positive feedback, and then send seller a personal e-mail with the straight dope. But I've never been outright robbed. Computer reproductions when i expected 2nd generation photos, yes.

In case any of you wonder if I HAVE any feedback, in addition to "14520sjowall." I used to be "rvognar01@home.com" till "@home" went bust.

My first check to jmiller is about a week overdue....jeez. People keep telling me to give it two weeks, and Berkeley is the ***hole of the universe as far as mail is concerned. But still...

Dear Scott
been there and done that. I hate it worse than anyone, but some people are crooks pure and simple. I always try to think the best of everyone , but eventually we all run into people who follow the reverse golden rule, mistreat others before they mistreat you. May you go another 900 feedbacks without another problem. be well brian
