The T80 cards were printed and issued circa Feb 1911 (at the tail end of the T206 print runs). ....also, T80's exist with extremely rare OLD MILL backs The twelve T205 Minor League cards were printed and issued circa Fall/Winter 1911. Therefore, I don't think the T80's had an immediate influence in the design of the Minor League cards. Perhaps at the end of the T205 print run, American Lithographic had the artist who created the T80's do the design of the Minor League cards. Personally, I prefer the artistic design of the T80's....and I wish that all of the T205 cards looked like their Minor League cards. . TED Z T206 Reference . |
