Default Legendary and Huggins & Scott Auction pickups

Since the month is almost over and the regular pickup thread is long, I thought I would start a thread to display card pickups from this week's auctions.
The T205 Lord has a slight recoloring on the front but more importantly a Drum back.

I didn't want to start a new thread, and this one seems like a good place to post this request: If the buyer of Lot #888: 1951 Topps "Major League All-Stars" PSA-Graded Collection (9) in Legendary's auction wants to sell one of the Bob Lemons, I'm a buyer.

Default not me

Since my last few larger (for me) purchases I have no money. I have cards but they aren't legal tender. (well, sort of)

Thanks. I think there's a way to snipe these auctions because the ending is somewhat confusing. Again, the way the auction ends is clearly stated in the Rules. However, if you don't think about it carefully, it can be somewhat confusing. I noticed it in one of the Heritage auctions that I was bidding on.

The issue is that when the auction puts time left for bidding for the auction, that includes extended time. This is what I think is the confusing part.
So if the auction ends at 10pm CST, and it is currently 9pm CST, the auction lists for the time left for the lot at 90minutes. Even though the auction has said that they are going to end at 10 and then have 30 minutes of extended time, I think some bidders might instead think that the auction ends at 10:30pm (because that's what the 90minutes is for). And after that, then extended bidding begins. They don't realize that the time left for the auction includes extended bidding.

So the way to "snipe" is to bid just before extended time begins, say around 9:59pm in this example. Other bidders might be thinking that they'll just wait to start bidding in extended time, but don't realize, at 10:30, the lot is closed.

Anyway, maybe everybody already knows this, and no one gets confused. Just wanted to point that out, however.

It doesn't work that way with Huggins and Scott. There is a 30 minute extended bidding time on each lot and if a bid is place during the extended time on a specific lot, the 30 minute timer starts again. It's pretty user friendly. I probably paid too much for the Weaver (trying to finish up the set) but I thought a great deal on the T210s which are all Series 5 cards and three were 50s and one 30.

Somewhat off point, but if anyone out there won the Huggins 1955 Ashland Oil basketball lot, and wants to recoup some of their money buy selling the Powless, PM me.

I know Abbaticchio is technically a common, but it seems to be a tough one since "blue sleeves" is the first of the T-206 set alphabetically. And in a Lenox it is just that much better..

Gary, wish I had read your post ealier! Cuz thats what happened to me in last night's H&S auction. I kept checking the countdown clock for the lot I was interested in (V100 McGraw + a T213 + a 1926 Supplement) and it seemed like it would be ending around 11pm EST. So knowing I'd be around, I figured I'd wait till 15 minutes before that to put in my initial bid. Well, at 10:45 when I tried, it gave me an error. So of course when I check the site, it said 9pm was deadline for initial bids and 11pm was the end of extended bidding. So, my fault for not reading it all entirely and thinking that the countdown clock was for the initial bid when it wasn't. I think the lot went low for $200 but who knows if I would've won anyway.

Oh well, i got to use that money for a different purchase today (thanks Bob!).
