I think he is a little crazy on this one. He beat me out for this card a couple of months ago at around 350. Now he is asking 3000. for this card? I have to think it is just another case of free advertisment for him. Rob

kit young always has some great cards...but at a high price...it seems to me that he is putting the future profit into his price today...so if you want to buy a certain high demand card and sell it in the near future, fo-getta-bout-it!

i have bought a few cards from him and have been happy with the service but currently have no intentions of selling them.

...and he paid $600 for the card on eBay several months back -

There are a number of dealers/quassi dealers who do this. It is frustrating. In a free market atmosphere you could buy a Joe Charboneau rookie for a dime and list it for $1000. It is on the rare items where the dealers really have the upper edge. Buyers get impatient and pay 200% over book for an item that they are afraid they may never have the opportunity to purchase again.

Kit Young is always way over market for his Stahls. I think he wanted $900 for a beater Campy a while ago. He has every right to ask that much but I would be surprised if he got it. Anyone who follows this set knows that this card comes up in better condition probably 4-8 times a year, and that Levi usually has a couple in inventory. I would have bid on this card the first time if not for the rusty staple holes.
