Default PSA/DNA encapsulation holder size

Hi,

I recently sent something in that is 6"x6". I noticed PSA offers a 5 3/4" x 8 size but that they also have holders for 8"x10" photos. Obviously, my item will not fit the 5 3/4" x 8 size so my question is this; Can I just instruct them to put it in a photo holder? Do they allow this?

Thanks in advance.

I don't mean to be rude, but its probably best just to ask them yourself.

It's very doubtful that PSA will allow this. The photo holder is different from the other holders in that it's not really hard sealed. You can think of it like an 8x10 top loader with the label sealing the top. I guess it's still better than no protection, so you can still call PSA and ask them. I've just never seen anything besides photos in that holder.

I do not recommend letting them shave the 6x6 down for you. ;-) They will mark it as altered.

Ha!

I will most likely have to shave it myself and resubmit. I do have a couple vouchers to use.
