Default Baseball Cello Box??

I've got this baseball box that I'm trying to figure out what brand and year it's from. With 15 cards for 10 cents I'm guessing it's a cello box. Anyone know anything about it? Anyone ever seen one before? Value?? Thanks again

I can tell you for sure that it is a Topps product...the TCG symbol stands for Topps Chewing Gum...not sure of the year but somewhere in the '50s.

Mize retired after the '53 season so based on that I would guess either '52 or '53 Topps, I'm thinking '53 but that's just a hunch. One of the box experts will jump in eventually with the right answer. Fifteen cards for 10 cents. Such a deal.

But Mantle wasn't in the 1954 Topps set, so his name wouldn't be on the box. In fact each of the players cited was in the 53 set. Almost certainly 1953.
