Default Removed Slab Back?

Posted By: Matt

Is it just me, or does this slab appear as if the back is missing...

I think its the way the seller took the picture. I think the back is there.

Edited to say: The camera flash can be seen, and i don't think you would get that flash if there were no back.

I'm not so sure - the camera flash is on the table as well and that has no plastic/glass covering it. The angle of the first picture got me suspicious.

The table seems shinny so i can see where it would show, but the inserts in SGC holders seem to be a dull black cardboard of sort. I could be wrong but the seller says he will get better pics.

I emailed the seller and he said there is a back on it. He is offering a full refund if not satisfied with it.

At the risk of sounding like a snobby computer guy (although I promise not to use the word "we"), I'm amazed that given how affordable scanners are, how many legitimate eBay sellers take photos of cards instead of scanning them. Isn't it worth an investment of less than $100 to buy a tool that's going to help generate bids? And you don't have to be any more computer literate to use a scanner than you do to use a digital camera and upload photos.

Honestly, unless the card is super scarce, when I see photos like this in an ad, I can't close the page quick enough.

I used to take pics and upload them. Now the only way to go is scan it. That way you can crop just the card.

I saw bad case of tat this morning, where someone scanned it in, cropped the card and gave it nice crisp corners.
