Default 1953 Brown & Bigelow Babe Ruth Deck Value?

Posted By: Brian

what would the value of a full 52 card deck be worth? would it be just the book value of $10 per card x 52.. or would there be a premium for a complete deck with box?

thanks

Please be careful in the future of where you post your threads. Nothing personal....just trying to keep a little order. The recent memorabilia and other non pre war baseball threads included....(including me if I do any happy.gif)....best regards

I bought a Mint sealed deck years ago at an Estate sale for 10.00 and sold it to a dealer on Ebay for 700.00 and some change. I'm sure he broke it up and sold the cards individually but haven't tracked high grade individuals
Hope this helps some

As with buying bulk, a set is worth less than the sum of its parts.

SCD prices a sealed deck differently then a loose card. I think they say $60 for a Ruth deck.

I would think that $40 would be a good deal. If each card resold for only $1, you'd make a profit.

I picked up a Wagner deck a couple of years ago at an antique show for $20...I sold it complete on ebay and I think I got about $50.

Here was an example on eBay that ended early. Maybe you can contact the seller and find out what their offers were and price it accordingly.
