Default Bad Weekend for Comedy:

We lost Dick Gregory, then Jerry Lewis - ages 84 & 91 respectively.

They did enough and we will chuckle when we remember...

RIP Guys!

Have always known of Gregory but more as an activist than a comedian. Jerry will be missed. He was a genius and raised billions for MD. What a life.

Dick Gregory started out as a comedian, grew into the activism. One joke of his that I liked went something like this, not an exact quote, but as close as I can remember:

"Jesus turned water into wine. My son turned four years of college tuition into beer."

One of his best was about sitting at a restaurant where a waitress told him they did not serve colored people and him saying that was ok because he did not eat them and only wanted fried chicken.
